Legalize pepper spray

With so many Indian students being killed or assaulted, why is it that a very effective means of deterrence – pepper spray – is banned in this country? At present, any person walking alone late at night is a defenseless target for hoodlums. But legalising pepper spray, a non-lethal means of self-defence, would surely make thugs think twice before they attack someone. |
