It has been revealed that there is a split among Labor MPs over allowing nuclear power into the energy marketplace. "My view is that all forms of energy supply should be under active consideration ... Government should give more active consideration to putting nuclear into the equation of all forms of energy supply" former frontbencher Mark Bishop said. NSW Senator Steve Hutchins also wants nuclear power debated. He said "I cannot see us returning to living in the cave and burning fallen timber to keep us warm." Privately a number of ministers support nuclear power being considered. Of course, Greenpeace had a conniption fit over this, and spokesman Stephen Campbell lashed out at the ALP, saying nuclear power and its waste were a threat. Why are environmentalists, who believe carbon dioxide is dangerously warming the plant, opposing nuclear power when it can provide cheap baseload power without CO2 emissions? The reason is that environmentalists don't actually oppose carbon emissions. What they oppose is cheap energy all together. And why? Because they are pushing eugenics. |
