Why the West should secede

In 1933, a referendum was held in Western Australia. By 21st century standards, the question put to voters was well outside the confines of socially acceptable discourse. Voters were asked whether WA should secede from the Commonwealth and become an independent nation. Amazingly, a sizable majority – 68 per cent – decided in favour of breaking away from the federal government.

There are few better examples of the distinctively rugged spirit of the West. Yet despite the sentiment in favour of seceding, WA’s plea was denied by the Australian government and the British Parliament in no uncertain terms. The powers that be were not about to stand for such intransigence.

World Citizens Association of Australia

The overwhelming majority of the many proponents of world government usually don't talk about it in explicit terms. However there are always a few that do.

Since 2004, there has existed an organisation called the World Citizens Association of Australia, which does openly propose a one world government.

Another organisation openly supporting a one world government is of course the Australian Greens.

Hence there is no shortage of organisations explicitly supporting this kind of lunacy.

"Nothing sinister" about taking advantage of crisis

Says Michael Pascoe:

"As Niccolo Machiavelli once more-or-less advised, you don’t want to waste a good crisis. Angela Merkel isn’t. And if that means a highly dangerous game of brinkmanship for months to come, sobeit if Germany achieves control of Europe.

There is nothing necessarily sinister about that. If Merkel’s plan to force European fiscal union – the necessary missing ingredient to sustain Europe’s half-baked monetary union – happens to result in Germany effectively dominating proceedings, well, who better? Or perhaps: who else?"

Government's don't innocently take advantage of crises, they create them, blame them on others, present a solution to an ignorant public, and then institute that policy, which is what they wanted in the first place (but couldn't get public support for). Never-endingly increasing their control and destroying the market economy.

New PC game promotes carbon taxes, world government

A new PC game allows players to control a world government that can institute coercive policies to fight so-called ominous global threats, like global warming, over-population and peak oil, including an option for a Chinese-style one-child policy (i.e. forced abortions).

According to it's official website:

"Fate of the World is a PC strategy game that simulates the real social and environmental impact of global climate change over the next 200 years. The science, the politics, the destruction — it’s all real, and it’s scary. Your mission: Solve the crisis. But, like life, it won’t be easy. You’ll have to work through natural disasters, foreign diplomacy, clandestine operations, technological breakthroughs, and somehow satisfy the food and energy needs of a growing world population. Will you help the planet or become an agent of destruction?"
