Government now decides what T-shirt you can wear

In yet another sign of just how insane nanny-statism is getting in Australia, federal government anti-tobacco legislation is being used to justify the banning of T-shirt designs. But it's not like these totalitarian measures have no historical precedent. Often measures against smoking are justified on the basis that they reduce taxpayer funded healthcare costs. The real solution is to eliminate socialised healthcare aswell, which only makes healthcare lower quality and more expensive. If the government cannont run insulation and school building programs, why do you allow it to run healthcare? |
