Where are the war protesters?

As we speak, a bunch of western countries are engaging in military action against a weak muslim country run by a dictator. If you recall, the same thing happened in 2003, when we invaded Iraq. Do you notice a difference though? The sandal-wearing, big-government-loving peaceniks are nowhere to be found. But why? Are they not against war? Well no, they aren't. They are only against war, when it suits their international policy agenda. When they are against a war, they call it imperialism, and parade themselves on television. When they are for the war, they call it "humanitarianism". You might have the same number of innocent people being slaughtered, but as long as its "humanitarian", it doesn't matter to the "leftists". |
