Hazlewood Coal Shutdown is Gross Insanity

When power stations that keep our lights on, are being prepared for shutdown, you really know that green lunacy has gone beyond the stage of mere quaintness.

Labor and the Greens in Victoria, are planning on shutting down Hazelwood Power Station, which provides 25% of Victoria's baseload power, at a time when we need to be building more coal-fired power to push down electricity prices.

Apparently they are also planning on shutting down Yallourn Power Station which provides about 22% of Victoria's baseload power.

So that's almost half of Victoria's baseload power GONE!

That means higher electricity prices, higher food prices and higher everything else.

But what about global warming? Well, global warming is a fraud, and it is important to know, when you are experiencing rolling blackouts and pathetically pulling out your candles, that the people doing this are not the sandal-wearing tree huggers, but the elites of our society who want to filet you alive.
