At a time when we have spiraling national debt, high taxes and out of control government spending, the federal government has decided to spend millions to bring the lunatic Oprah Winfrey show over here.

"Oprah Winfrey’s plans to film one of her final shows in Australia will cost local taxpayers more than AU$2.5 million ... Australia’s Tourism Minister Martin Ferguson said it had received about AU$2.5 million in federal and state government funding in a bid to tempt the U.S. talkshow megastar Down Under..."

Oprah, by the way, is a fawning acolyte of Barack Obama and his big-government, eco-socialist programs.

How exactly is the federal government authorised to do this? I don't see Oprah in Section 51.
