The case for West Australian secession

Western Australia is under attack from the centralising, east-centric Labor regime in Canberra.

Federal Labor have engaged in a series of attacks on WA. GST distribution, health takeovers and the unconstitutional mining tax. All attempting to redistribute wealth from WA to the struggling Labor regimes of the eastern seaboards states.

In the light of all of this, WA secession should not be considered radical.

Contrary to popular belief, the Australian Constitution does not forbid secession. In any case, if WA did declare independence with the support of the people, what could the federal government do about it? I don't think the ADF is going to invade WA and shoot at their fellow Australians.
