Carbon tariffs will result in bi-polar world order

The oligarchs of the "progressive" European Union are engaging in economy-crippling game. They are now attempting to use the purchasing power of European consumers, to force other countries (outside the EU) to adopt carbon taxes. The idea here is that if a country like Australia will not tax its citizens into the ground of its own volition, then the European Union will simply shut down trade and try to force the issue from the outside. This approach will lead to something we have not seen since .... well ..... December 25th 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed and with it, the bi-polar world order that arose out of the ashes of World War 2. We have in the making a new bi-polar world order, made up of countries that are taxing carbon and those who are not. The carbon taxers will not trade or have any significant dealings with the countries that don't. We know China and India, knowing how carbon taxes will cripple their dreams of western levels of development, will not be taxing carbon. On the other hand, we know the EU will be the main force on the pro-carbon tax side. But what about Australia? The Greens want this to happen here, but let's hope we can stop this. We are better off sticking with China and India (and hopefully the US and Russia also). |
